NNA - "Lebanese Forces" bloc (LF) member Deputy Chant Janjian confirmed to "Free Lebanon" radio on Friday that there would be no return to 1960 law and elections would be held on time.
The MP praised President Michel Sleiman's role who stressed to hold election on schedule.
"LF adopted at the beginning 50 districts law because it allows citizens ability to hold accountable the MP they have elected unlike the Orthodox law," he said.
He said that when most of the parties rejected it (50 districts law) then LF adopted the Orthodox law to prevent Christians from being marginalized.
