NNA - Saudi Council of Ministers reiterated Monday the Kingdom's condemnation of the 2 terrorist bombings that hit Beirut recently, urging all Lebanese parties to listen to the voice of reason and logic and place their nation's concerns above all factional interests.


"Such narrow interests drain Lebanon of its capabilities and threaten the security and stability of its people," added the Saudi Council, following its session at the Yamamah Palace in Riyadh chaired by Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister Salman ben Abdel-Aziz.


The Council stressed the need for the Lebanese State and Army to spread authority over all Lebanese territories, so as to put an end to any tampering with the country's security.


Furthermore, the Council also reviewed latest developments at the regional and international levels. They highlighted, herein, the need to push international efforts towards achieving the Syrian people's aspirations, including halting all bloodshed and ensuring stability, sovereignty and unity of Syrian territories.
