NNA - "Liberation and Development" bloc member, Deputy Yassine Jaber, asked "all the Lebanese political factions to resort to dialogue," in a bid to form a united national unity Cabinet.
"The new Cabinet should provide a political cover to the Army to hit with an iron fist all the individuals who tamper with Lebanon's security and stability," he said in a statement on Friday.
The MP pointed that it would be required at this critical stage to fortify Lebanon and preserve it from all the surrounding dangers and conspiracies.
On another note, in the wake of Thursday's blast, Jaber said that blind terrorism moved from region to region to target the innocent people, adding that it did not differentiate between one sect and the other.
The Deputy offered condolences to the families of the victims of yesterday's (Thursday) blast in the southern suburbs of Beirut and wished a quick recovery to the wounded.
"Terror acts try to strike the world and the Arab region to eventually settle in Lebanon," the MP emphasized, asking the rivals to rally around the state's institutions, particularly "the Army as it is the backbone of the country."
