NNA - Member of Parliament Michel Pharaon on Thursday voiced unremitting support to President of the Republic Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam, especially to both men's way of handling the prevailing political situation "in light in Hezbollah's involvement in the Syrian crisis, unwillingly dragging Lebanon into Syria's unrest."
"Our faith in Lebanon and its institutions and our duty to fortify its stability should always top priorities and any sort of fight for power," he said as being interviewed by the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
Pharaon also suggested that dialogue be resumed in line with the formation of a new cabinet.
"The Presidential deadline remains the most crucial at the internal political scene, especially looking at its constitutional significance and the grave danger coupled with any scenario leading to presidential void," the lawmaker warned.
Pharoun also stressed March 14 keenness on preserving stability in Lebanon, away from political assassinations and provocation.
