NNA - The Minister of Culture, Gaby Layyoun, said on Tuesday "it is a mistake from President of the Republic to form a Cabinet and he already knows that it won't obtain confidence."
The Minister said that the constitutional work is based on good intention, "today and according to the distribution of political views in the House of Representatives, the government of 9-9-6 is the only government that can get the confidence of the House, before arriving to its ministerial statement, because the Cabinet will include all (political) parties."
Layyoun told the "Voice of Lebanon" radio that the President of the Republic could not form a de facto Cabinet any more after the Taif Agreement.
