NNA - European Union's Ambassador to Lebanon, Angelina Eichhorst, on Friday considered that the assassination of former minister Mohammad Shatah was a message against moderation.



"His targeting is a message against moderation. And we totally refuse it," the envoy said in comments on the fresh killing of Shatah, advisor of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, in Beirut earlier today.



"The martyr minister Mohammad Shatah was a friend of mine, Europe, and the entire world. His analysis was accurate and he had a project to promote Lebanon on the international level," she said.


"Dialogue is more important than anything else," she stressed.
