NNA - Caretaker Information Minister Walid Daouk on Friday said that those who do not want stability in Lebanon are pursuing their plans to keep our beloved country in the circle of turmoil and tension.



Voicing condemnation to the horrid blast that rocked Downtown Beirut today, Daouk called on political leaders to rise above their personal interests and embrace Lebanon's legitimate and military institutions, above all, the Lebanese Army.



"The army is the sole bulwark of the nation against crises and targets," Daouk said.



Caretaker Minister said that targeting our nation, its leaders and security will only up the people's determination and resolve as well as their clinging to their national constants.



He offered most sincere condolences for the victims' families and relatives and hoped for a fast recovery of the wounded.
