NNA - The Friendship delegation of the Chinese Communist Party, currently on a visit to Lebanon, on Thursday afternoon held a press conference at the "Golden Tulip" Hotel in Beirut, to speak about the purpose of the delegation's visit to Lebanon, notably to exchange viewpoints with the Lebanese officials on means of bolstering the traditionally-friendly Chinese-Lebanese relations and feasible bilateral cooperation.



Speaking in the name of the delegation, Assistant Chairman of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Central Committee of the Party, Qah Yutzhou, stressed China's unswerving position in bolstering cooperation with Arab countries, indicating that China shall proceed with such a support in a bid to find solutions to standing causes through political means and the settlement of differences via dialogue.



"We will continue to support the peace process in the Middle East and we will actively participate in solving the hot issues in the region politically," the senior Chinese official said.



Yutzhou affirmed China's continued support to the Arab states in taking the path of their own development means, hoping that these countries would establish political systems and discover means of development as soon as possible.



"Any political system or any selected developmental path by the Arabs lies in their hands... Not any external force is entitled to replace the Arab countries or their people in decision-making," the Chinese official said.
