NNA - "Lebanese Forces" parliamentary bloc member, Antoine Zahra, said that the military incident between the Lebanese Army and the Israeli enemy yesterday, confirmed that when confrontation occurs with the Lebanese Army, it can be contained by an immediate international move obliging the Israeli enemy to stop its violations.



Zahra paid condolences to the "Lebanese people on the death of the Lebanese Army martyr," saying that they look forward to a time when only the Lebanese Army spreads security over all the Lebanese territories.



"The first sign of sovereignty is having the legislative security forces alone control the security of the country," Zahra told "Al-Sharq" radio on Monday.



Zahra sorrowfully said that Lebanon reached the current stage as a result of Hizballah's involvement in the Syrian war.



The involvement of Hizballah in the Syrian war brought to Lebanon a phenomenon which hadn't been previously witnessed and which all the Lebanese (except Hizballah) had rejected, the Lawmaker said.



Zahra reminded that March 14 had always called for controlling the borders in both directions by the Lebanese Army.



Commenting on March 8 attack against President Michel Sleiman, Zahra pointed that it had many reasons, on top of which a pre-emptive war on the factual cabinet formation that President Sleiman and Prime Minister-designate Salam intend to have.



He added that accusing President Sleiman of seeking to extend his tenure was just to pave the way for them ( March 8) to reach vacuum, saying" Hizballah doesn't stand the presence of a state and a President keen on Lebanon's unity and sovereignty".



"It is important to respect the rotation of authority and the constitutional dead lines", Zahra stressed.
