NNA - Caretaker Minister of Labor Salim Jreisati commented on Friday on the Finance prosecutor's Department summon to Caretaker Ministers Ghazi Aridi and Mohammad Safadi by saying that nobody is above law.
"The Cassation Court's discretion distinguished between violations and financial crimes within the context of the job and those outside it," Jreisati told "Voice of Lebanon" radio.
He stressed that it is necessary to hold investigations first and the financial prosecutor department was doing so.
"If violations were found whether from Aridi or Safadi within the context of the job, the issue would be transferred to the Supreme Council for the trial of presidents and ministers after acquiring a decision from the Parliament," Jreisati said.
Commenting on the displaced Syrians in Lebanon, Jreisati pointed to the failure of concerned international bodies to meet calls and help Lebanon in shouldering that burden.
