NNA - The whole of humanity lost a unique human being who inspired generations Nelson Mandela. He represented a culture and militant model for peoples fighting for their rights and democracy.



In a press release by March 14 Deputy of the House, Boutros Harb, he wished to see Lebanese leaders imitate Mandela even though in a minimalist fashion.



Harb sited methods used by Mandela in his anti- apartheid struggle which cost him 27 years of his life in prison.



Through his sacrifice, Mandela rightfully earned the respect of all peoples of the world.



The rise of democratic South Africa is the fruit of his struggle and sacrifice.



Harb highly appraised Mandela's non violent methods in effecting the democratic transition in South Africa.



He brought to attention Mandela's ceding of office to a President from the younger generation without the enjoyment of any sort of power privileges.
