NNA - We are pretty bored with recipes concocted in the dark, Commander of the Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea, stated during a dinner banquet in honor of L.F. dentists yesterday at Meerab.
Time is ripe for launching fair presidential elections, Geagea told L.F. deputies and party officials.
All armed factions in the pay of certain politicians and, currently fighting it out in Tripoli, must be disarmed, Geagea added. It is unfortunate that political factions wish to keep things as they are on the ground, he retorted.
Geagea, who rejected L.F. partaking in any inept cabinet, reiterated President Michel Sleiman's call for a new government essentially made of neutral or technocratic ministers saying the only acceptable one to his party is that capable of effecting major breakthroughs.
