NNA - Member of the Parliament Walid Khoury confirmed that March 8 Forces haven't decided yet on the person whom they would nominate to be the new Prime Minister, saying that their priority is reaching a new election law, then they would name a Prime Minister.
Khoury added that the General Assembly of the Parliament is to convene next week and is likely to discuss the bills mentioned briefly on the agenda of which the Orthodox Gathering plan is one of them.
The MP said that he depends on the role of Speaker Nabih Berri and the Parliament's General Assembly to decide on the priority of the bills to be discussed.
"As a principle, Speaker Berri cannot but discuss the bills which were approved by the joint committees," Khoury said.
Commenting on the issue of extending the term of the Security leaders, Khoury said nobody asked them about that issue, saying that only those who signed on the statement (of extending the term of the security leaders ) commit to it.
