NNA - President of the Republic, Michel Sleiman, vowed Friday that firmer security measures would be tightened in the turmoil-swept city of Tripoli within the next hours.



"The situation is under control," the President told a Cabinet session that it currently convening at Baabda presidential palace.



"Dialogue must be a priority for all parties," he stressed.
