NNA - Deputy Amine Wehbe told the Future channel on Friday that the current government produced nothing but division and sectarianism which may be the cause behind the potential postponement of the parliamentary elections.
"If that happens, Hezbollah would be to blame," he said, assuring that just power rotation is the only strategic choice that ought to be adopted by all the country's factions.
"We used to say that national dialogue sets adequate circumstances for preserving stability in the country, but unfortunately the March 8 forces, on top of which Hezbollah, dealt negatively with all the suggested initiatives," the Future Deputy noted.
Tackling the salary scale topic, Wehbe said he supported every decision that's fair vis-a-vis the people.
He called on the cabinet to resign immediately, "as what's necessary at the current critical stage is to form a new government that ensures a consensual atmosphere which helps building a healthy economy."
The Future MP did not fail to tackle the latest security incidents in Tripoli.
"Assad's regime is not innocent of what is happening in Tripoli," he affirmed, reminding of the threats voiced few days ago by the Head of the Arab Democratic Party, Refaat Eid.
"Our request is to render Tripoli an arms-free zone," he reiterated, assuring that efforts must be joined to cordon off strife which the Syrian regime insists on flaring up in Lebanon.
