Araji: 12 government hospitals across Lebanon set to receive patients infected with coronavirus

NNA - Parliamentary Health Committee head, Issam Araji, announced at a joint press conference with Minister of Health Hamad Hassan, that 12 government hospitals, across all Lebanese regions, are now equipped to receive patients infected with coronavirus.


He pointed out that "the percentage of patients who need ventilators does not exceed 3%."


Araji explained that the number of ventilators for adults and children in government hospitals was 165, noting that "the Ministry of Health and the RDC had submitted a request to purchase additional devices."


"$ 40 million from the World Bank and 10 million from the HRC are assigned for the coronavirus file," said Araji.
