ISF receives gear and equipment from France

NNA - The Internal Security Forces on Thursday received a donation of gear and equipment from the French government, in a ceremony held at the ISF headquarters, in presence of ISF Chief General Imad Othman, and French Ambassador to Lebanon Bruno Foucher.

"Today, I was given the chance to remind you of France's commitment to siding by the ISF in its fight against terrorism and organized crime," Foucher said in his word.

"France will provide the ISF with unprecedented support in the field of fighting terrorism," he added, indicating that the aid amounts t0 400,000 euros.

"Other donations are expected to take place in the coming months," he said.

"Just like 2018, 2019 will be the year of intensive cooperation with the ISF," he concluded.
