NNA -Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa signed on Thursday the draft Constitutional Declaration.

“We hope that this will be a good opening for the Syrian people on the path to construction and development.” the President al-Sharaa said after receiving the draft constitutional declaration from the committee in charge of drafting it.

The President added: We hope this will be a new date for Syria to replace ignorance with knowledge and suffering with mercy.

In turn, the Committee of Experts charged with drafting the Constitutional Declaration confirmed at a press conference that the Committee had been committed to completing the required work from the very first moment of its formation and had relied on the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference in the constitutional declaration. -- SANA news agency
