NNA - At least 66 civilians, most of them children and women, were killed and dozens were injured in a new massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces at dawn in the northern Gaza Strip.
The occupation warplanes bombed an entire residential block in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 66 civilians and the injury of more than 100 others.
Medical sources from Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip, said that the medical staff in the hospital are pulling the slain Palestinians out from under the rubble at the site of the massacre with their own hands due to the lack of rescue crews.
They added that serious cases are being transported on shoulders to the hospital, in light of the difficult and deteriorating health situation, as a result of the repeated targeting of the occupation and the siege imposed on northern Gaza.
Eyewitnesses said that dozens of homes in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital were razed to the ground and dozens of other homes were severely damaged by the destructive occupation bombing.
Medical sources affirmed that there are no specialized surgeries in the hospital to prevent the occupation forces from entering new medical teams, and that the current teams are only providing first aid to most cases.
The sources added that the hospital will turn into mass graves in the absence of urgent intervention from international institutions and the entry of medical supplies.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 43,985 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 104,092 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.--WAFA
