NNA - Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Youssef Al-Absi, on Wednesday received National Defense Minister, General Michel Menassa, at the Patriarchate in Rabweh.

Minister Menassa said the visit comes to offer Patriarch Al-Absi Eid wellwishes.

Patriarch Al-Absi, in turn,  thanked the Lebanese Army "for the sacrifices it is making for the sake of the nation, and for its efforts to restore security and stability to the south and impose security throughout all Lebanese territory."
