NNA - The Council of Ministers on Wednesday convened in a regular session at Baabda Presidential Palace, under the chairmanship of President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, at the invitation and in the presence of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and the ministers.

The Council of Ministers will discuss a 28-item agenda that includes agreements, legislative proposals, draft decrees, and appointments, along with functional and regulatory matters.

The President of the Republic will brief the Council of Ministers on the outcomes of his visit to the brotherly State of Kuwait. The Council of Ministers will also be briefed on reports on the second phase of the municipal and mayoral elections in the North and Akkar governorates, as well as on preparations for next Sunday's elections in Beirut and the Bekaa.

Ahead of the Cabinet’s session, a meeting was held between President Aoun and Premier Salam, during which both men broached the latest developments
