NNA – President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, accompanied by Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Minister Youssef Raji, arrived at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi at 3:00 pm, Beirut local time, at the start of an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President Aoun was received at the airport by UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister Khalifa Shaheen, and Lebanon’s   Ambassador to the UAE, Fouad Chehab Dandan, in addition to Lebanese embassy staff.

After the welcome ceremony at the airport, President Aoun proceeded to the Beach Palace for official talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
