NNA - Iran President, Hassan Rouhani, met Monday with House Speaker, Nabih Berri, over the current situation on the regional and international scenes, in the wake of a historic nuclear deal between the Islamic Republic and the West.



"Your presence today is special. We have for Lebanon utmost respect and special affability. We hope to develop our relations," Rouhani told his guest.



Berri, currently on a state visit in Tehran, earlier met with Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and Speaker Ali Larijani.
