NNA - The defense lawyer representing Major Suzan Hajj on Wednesday denied news claiming that the former head of the ISF's Anti-Cybercrime and Intellectual Property Rights Bureau had been fired from the agency, stressing that Hajj will carry on her service inside the ISF.
"Major Hajj is confident about her innocence and she will prove it before the competent sides," lawyer Mikhayel Semaan said in a statement.
"She will carry on her service at the ISF devotedly and faithfully," he added.
Hbeish was arrested last spring over charges of framing actor Ziad Itani and fabricating evidence on his alleged collaboration with the Israeli enemy. Itani was arrested and released later without being charged.
