NNA - Caretaker Minister of Education and Higher Learning, Marwan Hamadeh, met with a delegation of students of the Lycee Abdelkader school and their parents who are protesting against selling the school and moving to the Antonine School building in Baabda.

Hamadah listened to their complaints, stressing that "PM-designate Saad Hariri is not satisfied with this move, asking "the students and parents to wait for Hariri's return from abroad" to crystallize the matter,

He also underlined the importance of the position of leader Walid Jumblatt "in terms of protection the memory and history."

Hamadeh also condemned the inappropriate behavior vis-a-vis Antonine Fathers in Baabda yesterday.

For his part, "the delegation put forward a proposal from one of the Lycee Abdelkader alumni who would like to buy the school and preserve and protect it so it can continue its mission."
