NNA - Head of the Lebanese Forces said Saturday that the speech given by President Michel Sleiman on Lebanon's 70th Independence Day should be adopted by all political factions as a roadmap to mend current status quo under the umbrella of the Baabda Declaration.


The only salvation was through forming an active cabinet that is not submissive to anyone, according to the LF leader, and also empowering the role of parliament and withdrawing from the war in Syria.


Geagea also called for holding presidential elections on time without impeding this constitutional due date with political and partisan issues that were not related to the text and spirit of the constitution.
