NNA - MP Ibrahim Kanaan called for forming a new government independently of Syrian developments and the regional situation, stating Saturday that the country's status quo cannot tolerate further delays.
Kanaan told Voice of Lebanon radio that a government of technocrats could save the day in Lebanon because Lebanon's political system was based on parliamentary blocs.
He, then, called for the formation process to be independent of the influences of regional agreements, whether between Saudi Arabia and Iran or between the kingdom and Syria.
