NNA - We regard the bombing of the Iranian embassy with deep concern, deputy-head of the Shiite Supreme Council cleric Abdul-Ameer Qabalan warned during his Friday sermon at the Supreme Council's main mosque today.
As the bombing is part and parcel of attempts aimed at sowing seeds of religious-sectarian strife between Sunnis and Shiites, Qabalan implored officials to speed up efforts to form an all-out ingathering government capable of carrying out all of its tasks.
"On Independence Day, let's work hand-in-hand in the spirit of partnership and mercy such that the almighty one lends us all support we need and make us victorious," Qabalan concluded.
