NNA - Member of Parliament Boutros Harb on Thursday urged Hezbollah to re-evaluate its involvement in Syria's turmoil, looking at the dear price Lebanon is paying in return.
The lawmaker told the Voice of Lebanon radio station that Lebanon has officially entered the hell of terror attacks.
"The Iranian Embassy incident has taken Lebanon to a new level of sabotage schemes. It's the first time a suicide bomber blows himself up in Lebanon while carrying a clear political message against Iran-backed Hezbollah's war against the Syrian opposition," Harb said.
He warned that the swelling Syrian exodus into Lebanon made it much easier for terrorists to enter the country.
"This incident might not be the last of its kind, especially in light of recent declarations deeming Lebanon and Iran's security as one," Harb said, insisting that Iran and Lebanon are two independent countries.
"We hope that Iran would do Lebanon a favor by not bogging it deeper and deeper into the Syrian conflict," he added.
