NNA - Wednesday's regular meeting this week focused on the twin terrorist blasts that targeted the Iranian Embassy in Bir Hassan in the Southern Suburb of Beirut yesterday, with House Speaker Nabih Berri warning of bids to turn Lebanon into a new downtrodden Iraq.



As more than 25 were killed and over 100 injured in the first-time suicide bombings in Lebanon, Berri deemed the explosions as a dangerous message that targeted the stability and security of the nation and the Lebanese.



He called upon all parties to fully assume their responsibility to face what he termed as "the criminal scheme aiming to Lebanon's Iraqization."


"Dialogue is the sole means to face internal and external challenges," lawmakers quoted the Speaker as saying.
