NNA - Caretaker Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi said in a statement Tuesday that "the terrorist operation that targeted the Bir Hassan area and led to the fall of innocent victims warns of serious complications and reminds of a black phase of bombings suffered by Lebanon in previous years."



"Behind this terrorist act stand sides which seek to turn Lebanon into an arena for sectarian sedition between Sunni and Shiite," he accused, urging the Lebanese leaders to accelerate and facilitate the formation of a new government capable of distancing Lebanon from the Syrian fires.



"We extend our condolences to the families of the martyrs and victims and wish speedy recovery to the wounded," Safadi concluded.
