NNA - Ministry of Social Affairs' teams are reported busy helping out Syrians displaced into Ersal and Shib'a in Southern Beqaa. Displaced Syrians have been offered makeshift lodgings, first aid materials and essentials for living, the ministry disclosed.



The total number of 1700 families benefitted thus far with only 600 being registered with international aid and relief organizations, the ministry said. Up to 924 refugees found their way into Shib'a with 3 government teams attending to their needs. UNICEF, Shield Association and the Lebanese Red Cross are reported working round the clock to help with the relief effort.
