NNA - Member of Development and Liberation Bloc, MP Qassem Hashem, asserted in a statement Saturday that relations with displaced Syrians were strictly humanitarian, and any violation or trespassing would sever these ties.
Hashem's statement was made after a meeting with senior Cleric of Bayyadah, Sheikh Ghaleb Qayss, at his residence in Hassbayah.
"We confirm today what we have said a year ago in our meetings and follow-ups of displaced Syrians' case, which stops at the limits of benevolence. We have already warned the displaced not to cross the boundaries of said relation, no matter the reasons. Otherwise, the presence of any trespasser poses a danger to the peace of the region and the unity of its people," said Hashem.
"The displaced will not be allowed to infringe on their role as refugees...or else we send them back from where they came from."
