NNA - The battle for Qalamoun will be bloody with major repercussions on Lebanon, Future Bloc deputy Ameen Wihbeh told al-Fajr radio station Saturday.
The country's major problem lies in being taken hostage by a disproportionately powerful Hezbollah bent on twisting both law and Constitution without any accountancy by the state, Wihbeh added.
The deputy, who refused to cover up Hezbollah's partaking in the Syrian conflict, regarded the Lebanese facing one of either dire solutions; namely submitting to Hezbollah's will or imbibing from the bitter chalice of political vacuum due to no government-formation.
Stressing need to pull out of the Syrian conflict, Wihbeh perceived in the outcome of the battle of Qalamoun a hit and run process which would only gain the regime tactical wins never to cow the Syrian people back again into submission, he concluded.
