NNA - No national legitimacy whatsoever for Hizbullah, Saad Hariri stated in a press release issued by his media bureau today. Hizbullah's atrocious policies against the backdrop of regional tempests could never get cover from us, Saad Hariri retorted.



It is shameful for Nasrullah to seize on Ashoura and twist it into an occasion in support of an oppressive regime bent on crushing its people and by doing this, the Hizbullah chief abandoned Baabda Declaration and refused to spare Lebanon sparks of the Syrian brush-fire, Hariri added.



Surely, the Party of God could flex its muscles on the Syrians and the Lebanese by leaning on Iranian moral and material support but, we tell Nasrullah that henceforth, he is unable to dictate to the Lebanese preconditions set by him for their partaking in political life.



Hizbullah opted for sacrificing Lebanese dignity and national unity by turning the country into a seat of power for Bashar Assad in line with a decision adopted by the Iranian leadership to safeguard Assad's regime and, this is an option liable to be cursed by History, Hariri concluded.
