NNA - Caretaker Minister of State Marwan Kheireddine received Wednesday the Director of the UNDP Istanbul International Centre for Private Sector in Development, Simona Marinescu, with talks touching on means to provide support for the development of the business sector productivity in a climate of fair competition, by creating new models to activate the national economy, through deep research at the legal and administrative levels and via international partnerships to stimulate investors and provide the necessary facilitations for them.



In this context, Kheireddine affirmed that there is no fear whatsoever on Lebanon's banking and economic sectors, stressing "the importance of the Lebanese banks and the role played by the Central Bank in terms of monetary stability and stabilizing the exchange rate."



He also underscored the efforts of the Banks Association and its contribution to the strategy of creating a climate of investment stability.
