NNA - MP Nawwaf Al-Moussawi spoke on the occasion of Hezbollah's martyrs' Day, assuring that the party was fighting today's battle to defend the image of the resistance in the face of a Lebanese political team that shows subservience to a foreign State.
"This political team does not want partnership in Lebanon, but seeks to rule alone and seize power," he added, assuring that keeping the Resistance out of the national decision-making process would be a conspiracy against it.
"We are in a battle to defend the Resistance, but we're not the side escalating the situation. It is the state that got foiled in Syria which is trying to keep Lebanon a tense arena to barter on," he explained.
"Disabling the Parliament and preventing the formation of a new Lebanese government are being done upon the instructions of this regional state which views Lebanon as a paper in its hands to negotiate with the U.S. administration," Moussawi explained.
"The reason is also that the other team does not have the ability to make its own decisions. Its choices are all tied to those of that regional State," he added.
The Deputy pointed out that "Lebanon is a country with enjoys enormous oil wealth, from the South to the North. (...) If the other team was really keen on the interest of the Lebanese and the disadvantaged in Akkar, the South and the Bekaa, it should take the initiative to facilitate the process to start the oil and gas exploration."
He stressed that "disrupting the decision to start drilling for oil and gas is due to that same regional State that does not want Lebanon to become an economically independent country."
Moussawi concluded his statement by blaming the March 14 for disrupting the State institutions just to satisfy regional and international greed.
