First Lady goes on cultural tour in Yerevan

NNA - First Lady, Mrs. Nadia Chami Aoun, took part in a tourist and cultural tour in Yerevan, at the invitation of the wife of the Armenian Prime Minister, Anna Haghobian.

Haghobian also invited the other wives of presidents attending the Francophone Summit in the Armenian capital, Yerevan.

The first Ladies visited the Magerian carpet museum, and the Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, which dates back to the fifth century and preserves the biggest number of manuscripts and documents in the world -- it has more than 17,000 manuscripts and approximately 300,000 archival documents.

For her part, Mrs. Aoun lauded the cultural and heritage wealth of Armenia.
