NNA - Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri welcomed today (Monday) at Ain Tineh the Syrian ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abd El-Karim Ali, who said after the meeting that the Speaker is content with the Syrian Army strength and the increase of the public embrace to the army's victories.



Ali said that, during the meeting, they tackled the situation in Lebanon and Syria and the efforts exerted to prevent tampering the stability of the Lebanese regions, stressing keenness on confronting all strife schemes.



"As for Syria, he (Berri) is following up ... the situation on ground and is content with the Syrian Army strength and the increase of the public embrace to the army's victories and the political leadership, which is embodied in President Bashar Assad's national policy and management to confront this war in which forces of different nationalities participated," Ali said.



He added that the victory that they achieved and the international and regional political keenness would reach a solution that would exit Syria this crisis via a decision taken by Syrians.



Separately, Berri welcomed also the new Argentinean ambassador to Lebanon during a Protocol visit.
