Fists fly at USJ in standoff between LF, FPM students

NNA - A fight broke out on Wednesday at the premises of Saint Joseph University between a group of students affiliated to the Lebanese Forces and another affiliated to the Free Patriotic Movement, NNA field reporter said.

The University administration tried to curb the fight and asked of students to leave the university premises; however, the brawl continued with students physically assaulting each other.

Members of the Internal Security Forces later intervened to pacify the situation between both sides of the fight.

At 4:00 pm the fight broke out again between both parties, NNA reporter added.
