NNA - Deputy Fouad al-Saad said on Friday in a statement that "the most critical incident that the security and political situation in Lebanon has witnessed was the Arab Democratic Party leader Ali Eid's challenge to the judiciary system, saying that this system should impose its authority and prestige on everybody including those carrying illegal arms.
Saad urged the President and the outgoing Prime Minister resigned and caretaker Minister of Justice "to take the required measures in order to prevent the downfall of the judiciary system on the hands of saboteurs and law breachers.
Saad said that it is necessary that "the Parliament adopts a position, even if it were just a formal one, to support the decision of judges Sakr Sakr and Riyad Abu Ghaida and confirms his rejection to Ali Eid's attempts to politicize the judicial warrants against him and the other wanted people to investigations over the blasts of Al- Salam and Al-Taqwa Mosques in Tripoli".
The Deputy also called upon the security apparatuses to control the borders with Syria to prevent Eid's escape, warning of the repercussions of not abiding by the judicial procedures and decisions.
