Germanos presses charges against 4 Palestinians for planning terrorist attacks in Lebanon and Italy

NNA - Government commissioner before the military court, Judge Peter Germanos, pressed charges Friday against four Palestinians, one of whom already under custody, for belonging to Daesh and planning terrorist acts in Lebanon and Italy.

Charges includes the planning for the assassination of former UN chief Ban Ki-moon during his visit to Lebanon in 2013, in addition to the attempt of poisoning drinking water tanks belonging to the Lebanese army, and scheming to conduct terrorist acts in the Italian island of Sardinia.

Germanos forwarded the case to the First Military Investigative Judge, demanding arrest warrants against all four.
