Pakistan Ambassador hosts farewell ceremony upon end of mission in Lebanon

NNA - Upon the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon, Pakistan Ambassador Aftab Khokher, hosted a farewell ceremony at Coral Beach Hotel, Beirut.

The event was attended by Caretaker Social Affairs Minister Pierre Bou Assi, MPs Ali Bazzi and Paula Yaacoubian; Ambassadors Karim Boudali of Tunisia, Nazih al-Najjari of Egypt, Ahmad Bouzian of Algeria, Alexander Zasypkin of Russia, Matahiro Yamaguchi, and Ashraf Dabbour of Palestine, in addition to National News Agency Director Laure Sleiman and Hezbollah's International Affairs head Ammar Moussawi.

Other diplomatic, political, spiritual and social figures also took part in the reception.

In his speech, Ambassador Khokher indicated that throughout his mandate, he had worked on bolstering the bilateral relations in various fields.

"I am proud to have been appointed in Lebanon, this beautiful and cordial country," he said.
