NNA - Kataeb Party Leader, Amine Gemayel, is currently thinking of proposing a new initiative on forming a Cabinet to run the country until the term of the President of the Republic expires, Head of the Editors Syndicate revealed Tuesday.



Elias Aoun had been today to Bekfaya, accompanied by a delegation of editors, for talks with the former President over the latest political developments in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.



The meeting mainly touched on the concerns over the condition of Christians in the East.


"What happened in Egypt and Iraq and what is now happening in Syria leads to dwell on the endangered presence of Christians in the East," Aoun told reporters after the meeting.



"Gemayel sees that what is targeted is the facet of the East, known for coexistence. Despite the events that seem to be targeting Christians, there is evidence on what is even more dangerous," Aoun added, voicing Gemayel's reference to the spread of Takfirism.
