NNA - Sheikh Aql of the Mouwahidoune Druze Sect, Sheikh Naim Hassan, on Thursday warned in a statement of a gang at the mountains, Rachayya and Hasbayya regions that take people's money in the name of some religious references under fake charity titles.
Hassan wished that citizens be extremely cautious of such acts and inform security forces of any such incidents. He, accordingly, called upon the security forces and the concerned apparatuses to exert intensive efforts to uncover those people and bring them to justice as soon as possible.
Hassan had previously met at the House of Druze confession in Verdun- Beirut the Consul of Malawi Republic in Lebanon, Antoine Akiki, with discussions featuring high on general issues in the country.
The Sheikh has also met with NDU Chouf-Branch head, Father Francois Akl, who congratulated his host on the occasion of the Holy Adha.
