NNA - Deputy Yassine Jaber said on Thursday that any constitutional amendment would demand political sides' consensus.
"Deputy Michel Aoun's proposal to amend the ministerial work system and the constitutional deadlines of the prime minister-designate is not viable at this time amid the current sharp partition in the country," the MP told "Voice of Lebanon" radio.
The MP said that the Parliament could convene to legislate even in light of a resigned Cabinet.
Jaber said that there were differences over the legislative session, pointing out that communications between former Prime Minister, Fouad Siniora and Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, were still ongoing.
He added that when the "Parliament General Assembly meets it can reject the agenda".
However, he refused disrupting the whole country over both the legislative and executive levels if the Prime Minister presented his resignation.
