NNA - The Italian Embassy in Lebanon represented by the Chargé d'Affaires, Simona De Martino, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Beirut as well as a delegation of Italian companies took part today in the 4th edition of the Lebanon Oil & Gas Summit.
In a press release by the Embassy, it said: "The above delegation is composed of the following Italian companies: CMC di Ravenna - Società Cooperativa, a construction company active in several sectors; COMTECH SRL, a sales & logistics company of the Soteco Group; Eptalex, an international law firm; Graziadio&C. SPA, a manufacturer of busbar trunking systems; Saipem SPA, a leading company in drilling services and pipeline installation.
Tomorrow, the Trade Commissioner Ms. Francesca Zadro will deliver a presentation on "The Supply Chain: Serving the Industry", focusing on the contribution of Italian suppliers to the development of Lebanon's Petroleum sector and related industries.
In parallel, the Italian Trade Agency organized a workshop in collaboration with the 5 Italian companies attending the Summit. Over seventy (70) b2b are scheduled for these same companies with Lebanese counterparts.
In 2017, Italy ranked fifth among exporting countries in the world in the machinery sector with a market share of a value of almost 25 billion US Dollars and second supplier in Lebanon of nuclear reactors, boilers, machineries and mechanical appliances with a value of 315 million USD."
