NNA - Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, said in a statement on Tuesday "Some believe that the Cedar Revolution has died and this belief is completely wrong. (...) Insofar as we need manhood, we also need wisdom."
Geagea delivered these words during a meeting in Maarab with a delegation from the towns of Meryata, Alma, Al-Fawar, Kfarhata, Heelan and Al-Qebbeh, in the presence of the LF candidate for the Maronite seat in Zgharta, Marius Beaini.
Geagea stressed that "the Cedar Revolution is the spirit that prevailed in Lebanon on March 14, 2005 and this spirit cannot disappear as it exists and remains until the achievement of our project," explaining that "despite the difficulty of our project and although the adversaries we face are not easy, we, also are not ones to give up easy. The real common denominator that brings us together is the constants of the Cedar Revolution."
Tackling the election, Geagea said "the situation was difficult under the majority system, but it became less difficult under the proportionality law."
