NNA - Deputy Prime Minister, Public Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani stressed Saturday that communication with the Free Patriotic Movement has never stopped.
Regarding the relation between the Lebanese Forces and Future Movement, Hasbani said, "We believe in the same constants with the Future Movement."
Speaking in an interview to "New TV" Channel, he expressed the Lebanese Forces Party's keen concern for preserving the nation.
"We will continue to aspire for a nation that is sovereign over its territories, where Lebanese coexistence and citizens' interests are safeguarded by the State alone," Hasbani asserted.
Referring to the parliamentary elections, Hasbani deemed that "the new electoral law is not the ideal law, but has a lot of flexibility, allowing for real representation without necessarily requiring broad alliances."
"We are in a transition period between individual democracy and representative democracy," he added.
"What is important to us is to preserve our national constants and neutralize Lebanon from external conflicts, and to establish stability and discuss matters explicitly when necessary," Hasbani underscored.
