Bassil after visiting Audi: Legislative elections great deadline to mend political system

NNA - Beirut Greek Orthodox Archbishop Elias Audi, received on Friday Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Gebran Bassil, accompanied by State Minister for Combating Corruption Nicolas Tueni and former Minister Nicholas Sehnaoui.

On emerging, Minister Bassil said that the visit comes as part of his tour to religious leaderships in Ashrafieh district (First Beirut District).

On the forthcoming legislative polls, Bassil noted that such elections constitute a great deadline to mend Lebanon's political system, expressing belief in democracy.
